About NammaSA

Practical sustainability. Measurable impact. Stronger communities.

NammaSA (Namma Sustainable Actions Trust) is a Bengaluru-based public charitable trust working to create practical, measurable and scalable solutions for people, communities and the environment.

Our work connects grassroots action with measurable sustainability outcomes — from environmental conservation and water security to education, farmer livelihoods, energy efficiency, circular economy and climate action.

We work with civic bodies, corporate CSR programmes, institutions, community groups and volunteers. Our focus is simple: understand the problem, act on the ground, measure the result, document the evidence and scale what works.

From the field

Project Stories

Real work. Real communities. Evidence from the field. NammaSA connects grassroots implementation with practical support, environmental action and documentation that can be developed into credible CSR impact reporting.

Energy Efficiency • Climate Action • Education

From Incandescent to LED — One Community at a Time

Bidadi, Ramanagara district, Karnataka • 15 August 2026

NammaSA carried out a practical energy-efficiency initiative at Bidadi, combining awareness with on-ground LED transition. Community members and children were engaged on the difference between conventional incandescent lighting and efficient LED lighting, followed by distribution and handover activity documented in the field.

  • Energy efficiency
  • LED transition
  • Climate awareness
  • Community engagement
Field evidence: Photographs documenting LED installation/retrofitting, community interaction and project branding. Project-level energy and emissions calculations should be added only after appliance inventory, wattage, operating hours and other required baseline data are verified.
Education & Community Support

Supporting Learning — Education Material Distribution

Makali, Karnataka • 4 September 2026

NammaSA engaged with school children and local school representatives at Makali, supporting students with learning materials. The activity reflects a simple community-first approach: understand local needs, provide practical support and document the engagement.

  • Learning support
  • Student engagement
  • School-community partnership
Field evidence: GPS-stamped photographs showing students, school representatives and learning-material distribution. Beneficiary counts can be published after reconciliation with the distribution record.
Education & Community Support

Learning Support That Reaches the Classroom

Hosahalli, Karnataka • 4 September 2026

The Hosahalli activity brought together students, teachers and community members around educational support. NammaSA documented students with notebooks and learning materials, creating a visual record of the activity and its community participation.

  • Education access
  • Student participation
  • Community engagement
  • Field documentation
Field evidence: GPS-stamped photographs of the school setting, student groups and learning-material distribution. Attendance and beneficiary records can be maintained as supporting project documentation.
NammaSA Implementation Model

Community First. Evidence Built In.

A repeatable model for CSR and sustainability partnerships

These activities demonstrate the implementation discipline NammaSA is building across its portfolio: work with local institutions and communities, deliver a defined intervention, document participation and retain evidence that can support outcome measurement. The same approach can be applied to environment, water, education, livelihoods, waste and climate projects.

  • Assess community need
  • Implement with partners
  • Document evidence
  • Measure outcomes
  • Report responsibly
CSR reporting principle: Publish only figures that are supported by project records. Where measurement is still underway, clearly label the information as an activity/output rather than an achieved environmental or social outcome.
For CSR & ESG partners: NammaSA can structure project documentation around the intervention, beneficiaries, implementation evidence, outputs, outcomes and measurable environmental or social indicators—creating a stronger trail from CSR investment to demonstrated impact.

Climate & carbon

Turning real-world action into credible climate evidence

Climate and carbon work remains an important NammaSA capability — supported by field data, MRV thinking and transparent documentation.

Climate action & GHG reduction

We support practical interventions that can reduce environmental footprints and create measurable climate outcomes.

  • Energy efficiency & LED retrofitting
  • Afforestation and carbon sequestration
  • Agroforestry and soil-carbon initiatives
  • Biochar and circular solutions

Carbon MRV & project readiness

We build the measurement and evidence layer needed to understand project outcomes and support credible carbon pathways.

  • Baseline and activity data
  • Biomass and survival monitoring
  • Field documentation
  • MRV and verification-readiness support
Important: verified carbon credits depend on applicable methodologies, validation/verification and registry requirements. NammaSA will distinguish project impact, carbon potential and verified credits clearly in its communications.
